<p>The meeting brought together the full operational and strategic team, including Dr. Thulitha Ranwala, company management, office staff, district coordinators, retail officers, extension coordinators from each district, and marketing advisors.</p>
<p>The purpose of the session was to review field performance during the Yala season, evaluate farmer engagement activities, and assess the impact of Bio Super Phosphate (BSP) across different regions. Key discussions focused on farmer feedback, distribution efficiency, market expansion, and strengthening awareness programs.</p>
<p>Insights from field operations were shared by district teams, providing valuable ground-level perspectives on crop performance, soil response, and farmer adoption. These discussions play a crucial role in aligning research, production, and market strategies.</p>
<p>This internal review reflects Sassrika Lanka’s commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring that field experience, data, and team collaboration drive future planning and innovation.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On 9th August 2025, a detailed harvest analysis was conducted in the Dehiattakandiya Agrarian Service Division in Ampara during the Yala season, comparing Sassrika Lanka Bio Super Phosphate (BSP) with conventional imported TSP basal fertilizer.</p>
<p>The evaluation, carried out in collaboration with the Department of Census and Statistics, involved five representative field locations. Each plot maintained comparble conditions, including similar application of other fertilizers and uniform land extent, allowing a reliable comparison of phosphorus sources.</p>

<p>Across all locations, BSP consistently outperformed TSP. The average yield recorded under BSP was approximately 7247 kg, compared to 5865 kg with TSP, representing an average increase of around 24 percent.</p>
<p>In some locations, yield improvements exceeded 35 percent, demonstrating the strong field performance of BSP, particularly in soils with lower phosphorus availability.</p>
<p>These results highlight the importance of efficient phosphorus utilization and the role of biologically enhanced fertilizer solutions in improving crop productivity. The findings also reinforce the value of field-based validation in understanding real agricultural outcomes.</p>
<p>Sassrika Lanka continues to work closely with farmers and national institutions to deliver sustainable, locally developed fertilizer solutions that enhance soil health, improve nutrient efficiency, and support long term agricultural productivity in Sri Lanka.</p>

<p>The visit was carried out with farmer P G Thilakarathna of the Niwithigolla Farmer Society, focusing on field level experience with the use of patented Bio Super Phosphate (BSP), also known as Rhizosara. This engagement provided an opportunity to observe crop performance, understand farmer feedback, and evaluate practical outcomes under real cultivation conditions.</p>
<p>Field visits such as this are central to Sassrika Lanka’s approach, allowing continuous interaction with farmers and direct assessment of soil health, phosphorus use efficiency, and nutrient management. These insights help refine the product and ensure consistent performance across different soil types and farming environments.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On 11th October 2022, Sassrika Lanka Pvt Ltd supplied its patented Bio Super Phosphate (BSP), also known as Rhizosara, to a fruit farm located in Ella, including cultivation within a jungle resort environment.</p>
<p>This application demonstrated the adaptability of BSP across diverse agricultural settings, including eco sensitive and tourism integrated farming systems. As part of our early distribution phase, this marked an important step in expanding our presence beyond traditional farming regions.</p>
<p>The use of Bio Super Phosphate in this environment supported soil health improvement, nutrient efficiency, and plant growth under real field conditions. Such field applications are essential in understanding product performance across varying soil types, crop systems, and climatic conditions found in Sri Lanka.</p>
<p>This milestone reflects Sassrika Lanka’s approach of combining innovation with real field validation. By working directly with farmers and agricultural projects, we continue to refine our fertilizer solutions and ensure practical benefits.</p>
<p>Our focus remains on improving phosphorus use efficiency, reducing dependency on conventional fertilizers such as TSP, and supporting sustainable agriculture through locally developed technologies.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On 19th September 2022, Sassrika Lanka Pvt Ltd marked a key milestone with the commencement of commercial operations at its warehouse and packing plant in Biyagama, Malwana.</p>
<p>This facility plays a central role in the storage, packaging, and distribution of our patented Bio Super Phosphate (BSP), also known as Rhizosara. It supports efficient delivery of high quality fertilizer solutions to farmers across Sri Lanka, ensuring consistency in product handling and supply.</p>
<p>The establishment of this operational hub significantly strengthened our supply chain, enabling us to meet increasing demand from multiple agricultural regions. It reflects our transition from research and innovation into full scale commercial implementation.</p>
<p>The occasion was attended by the founder, Dr Thulitha Ranwala, together with the manufacturing and distribution teams of Sassrika Lanka. Their collective effort represents the foundation behind this progress.</p>
<p>The Biyagama Malwana facility continues to function as a key logistics and coordination centre, maintaining quality standards under ISO 9001:2015 certified processes and supporting sustainable fertilizer distribution.</p>
<p>This milestone highlights Sassrika Lanka’s commitment to local innovation, farmer focused solutions, and long term soil health improvement through practical and reliable agricultural inputs.</p>

<p>On 10th August 2022, Sassrika Lanka Pvt Ltd participated in a stakeholder meeting organized by the Sri Lanka Inventors Commission, highlighting its patented fertilizer innovation Bio Super Phosphate (BSP), also known as Rhizosara.</p>
<p>Bio Super Phosphate, developed from Eppawala rock phosphate, is a locally developed phosphorus fertilizer designed to improve soil health, enhance phosphorus use efficiency, and reduce dependency on conventional TSP fertilizers. The product integrates phosphorus with biological activity, supporting better nutrient availability and plant uptake under real field conditions.</p>
<p>Known in the field as both BSP and Rhizosara, the product has been continuously improved through field trials, farmer feedback, and research driven development. It has evolved in both physical form and internal quality, delivering practical results across different agricultural regions in Sri Lanka.</p>
<p>The stakeholder meeting, which included partners such as SPAR Ceylon, created opportunities to connect this Made in Sri Lanka innovation with wider markets and strengthen distribution networks.</p>
