On 13 July 2026, the Sassrika Lanka – Mahiyanganaya Team proudly participated in the Agricultural Exhibition organized by the Department of Agriculture – Hasalaka (Inter-Provincial Division) under the theme “ඉසුරු ගෙනෙන යායක් තනමු” (Let’s Build a Prosperous Field).

The exhibition, held at Pallewaththa D47 Canal Field, Hasalaka, brought together farmers, farmer organizations, agricultural officers, technical college students, and leading agricultural companies to promote sustainable farming and innovative agricultural technologies.

Our team had the opportunity to introduce Rhizosaara Bio Super Phosphate (BSP) and other innovative fertilizer solutions developed by Sassrika Lanka, while engaging directly with farmers and sharing practical knowledge on improving soil fertility and crop productivity.

We sincerely thank the Department of Agriculture – Hasalaka for inviting us to be part of this valuable initiative and look forward to continuing our contribution towards sustainable agriculture in Sri Lanka.

2026 ජූලි 13 වන දින හසලක අන්තර් පළාත් කෘෂිකර්ම දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් “ඉසුරු ගෙනෙන යායක් තනමු” තේමාව යටතේ සංවිධානය කරන ලද කෘෂිකාර්මික ප්‍රදර්ශනය සඳහා සශ්‍රීක ලංකා – මහියංගණය කණ්ඩායම සහභාගී විය.

හසලක පල්ලේවත්ත D47 ඇළ පිටිය හි පැවැති මෙම ප්‍රදර්ශනයට ගොවි මහතුන්, ගොවි සංවිධාන, කෘෂිකර්ම නිලධාරීන්, තාක්ෂණික විද්‍යාල සිසුන් සහ කෘෂිකාර්මික ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ ආයතන රැසක් එක්විය.

මෙහිදී අප විසින් Rhizosaara BSP ජෛව සුපර් පොස්පේට් ඇතුළු නව්‍ය දේශීය පොහොර විසඳුම් හඳුන්වා දී පස සෞඛ්‍යය, පෝෂක කළමනාකරණය සහ ඉහළ අස්වැන්නක් සඳහා ගොවි මහතුන් සමඟ දැනුම හුවමාරු කර ගැනීමට අවස්ථාව ලැබුණි.

මෙම වටිනා අවස්ථාව සඳහා ආරාධනා කළ හසලක අන්තර් පළාත් කෘෂිකර්ම දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවට අපගේ ස්තූතිය පුද කරමු.

මෙසේ පවසමින් තම අස්වැන්න පිළිබඳව මහත් බලාපොරොත්තු තබා සිටින්නේ ලුණුගම්වෙහෙර, සිණුක්කුව, කුඩාගම්මන 01 හි පදිංචි වයස අවුරුදු 41ක් වන ඩබ්ලිව්. ඒ. ජයරත්න (W.A. Jayarathna) මහතායි.

නිවැරදි සත්කාරය නිසා සරුසාර වුණු ගොයම් කරලක සහ ශක්තිමත් මූල පද්ධතියක සාර්ථකත්වය ඔහුගේ කුඹුරු යායෙන් අද මනාව දැකගත හැකියි. අපේ රට ස්වයංපෝෂිත කරන්නට වෙහෙසෙන මෙවන් දිරිමත් ගොවි මහත්වරුන්ට අපේ ප්‍රණාමය! 🇱🇰🌾

“சென்ற போகத்தில் வேர்கள் சிறியதாகவே காணப்பட்டன. ஆனால் இந்த போகத்தில் விளைச்சல் அதிகரிப்பு ஏற்படுவது தெளிவாகத் தெரிகிறது. இம்முறை வேர்களைப் பிடுங்குவது கூட கடினமாக உள்ளது, அதாவது வேர்கள் சென்ற முறையை விட மிகவும் நன்றாக வளர்ந்துள்ளன. வேர் முறைமையின் பலத்த தன்மையை நன்றாக உணர முடிகிறது…”

The meeting brought together the full operational and strategic team, including Dr. Thulitha Ranwala, company management, office staff, district coordinators, retail officers, extension coordinators from each district, and marketing advisors.

The purpose of the session was to review field performance during the Yala season, evaluate farmer engagement activities, and assess the impact of Bio Super Phosphate (BSP) across different regions. Key discussions focused on farmer feedback, distribution efficiency, market expansion, and strengthening awareness programs.

Insights from field operations were shared by district teams, providing valuable ground-level perspectives on crop performance, soil response, and farmer adoption. These discussions play a crucial role in aligning research, production, and market strategies.

This internal review reflects Sassrika Lanka’s commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring that field experience, data, and team collaboration drive future planning and innovation.

The evaluation, carried out in collaboration with the Department of Census and Statistics, involved five representative field locations. Each plot maintained comparble conditions, including similar application of other fertilizers and uniform land extent, allowing a reliable comparison of phosphorus sources.

Across all locations, BSP consistently outperformed TSP. The average yield recorded under BSP was approximately 7247 kg, compared to 5865 kg with TSP, representing an average increase of around 24 percent.

In some locations, yield improvements exceeded 35 percent, demonstrating the strong field performance of BSP, particularly in soils with lower phosphorus availability.

These results highlight the importance of efficient phosphorus utilization and the role of biologically enhanced fertilizer solutions in improving crop productivity. The findings also reinforce the value of field-based validation in understanding real agricultural outcomes.

Sassrika Lanka continues to work closely with farmers and national institutions to deliver sustainable, locally developed fertilizer solutions that enhance soil health, improve nutrient efficiency, and support long term agricultural productivity in Sri Lanka.
